Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 Rugged with Android 7.0 Nougat Launched


Just a few hours after being spotted on the US FCC, the Samsung has made the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 official. The smartphone is listed on the Samsung company is German website with all specification details, and the Galaxy Xcover 4 phone will be available in Europe sometime in April. The big highlight of the device is its ruggedness and its dust and water resistance capabilities. It will be made available in Black color option, for the approx price of Rs. 18,200.

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 comes with a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels and 294 ppi pixel density per inch.

The Galaxy Xcover 4 is powered by Quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos 570 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via a MicroSD card. The smartphone packs 13 MP, f/1.9, autofocus, LED flash primary camera on the rear and a 5 MP front shooter for selfies. The smartphone primary camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama.

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 runs on Android OS, v7.0 (Nougat) operating system and powered by a 2800 mAh, Li-ion battery. The single SIM smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM. The smartphone connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, FM, 3G and 4G with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India. The smartphone include a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Ambient light sensor.
