Vivo company has launched a new budget smartphone with 4G support in Malaysia, the Vivo Y25 at a price of MYR 499 (roughly Rs. 7,500). Even though there has been no word about an international launch yet, it might be hard for the smartphone to stand out if it is eventually launched in India considering its seemingly underpowered specifications.
The Vivo Y25 smartphone runs on Android v5.1 (Lollipop) and comes with a 4.50-inches FWGA IPS capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 845 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It smartphone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y25 smartphone packs a 5 MP primary camera, tagged with LED flash, and a 2 MP camera at the front for selfies and video chatting. The phone packs a 1900mAh, non-removable battery and measures 130.7×66.4×9.2mm. The smartphone offers connectivity options including 4G connectivity, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The smartphone include a proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.
