The Sony on Monday announced a new entry-level smartphone, called the Xperia L1. The Sony company highlights a sharp display on near edge-to-edge screen. The new smartphone is being offered in black and pink color options.
The Sony Xperia L1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The headset 5.5-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels with 267 PPI pixel density per inch. The device is powered by a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53, Mediatek MT6737T processor with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable 128GB via MicroSD card.
The Sony Xperia L1 include a 13-megapixel, f/2.2, autofocus, LED flash primary camera and 5-megapixel front facing a camera. The smartphone camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama with 1080p@30fps video recording system.
The Xperia L1 dual-SIM smartphone packs a 2620mAh battery with Sony’s STAMINA mode for battery saving. The device measures 151 x 74 x 8.7mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 180 grams.
The Sony Xperia L1 connectivity options include 4G LTE (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The smartphone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope, and Barometer.
