Moto X4 With Dual Rear Cameras Launched in India


Moto X4 has been launched in India today. The latest smartphone Moto X4 will be exclusively available on Flipkart in India. Apart from its dual rear camera setup and front flash module, the smartphone is also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. Lenovo is also claiming the Moto X4 is the first smartphone running on the new Snapdragon 630 SoC to be launched in India. The Moto X4 has been launched in two variants in India – 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage – and both support dual-SIM feature. Moto X4 price in India, launch offers

This Moto X4 smartphone has been launched in two memory variants, which includes a 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage variant priced at Rs 20,999, a 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant priced at Rs 22,999. It will be available in two color variants Sterling Blue color and Super Black, exclusively from Flipkart and Moto Hub shops.

As for launch offers, the Moto X4 will be available on Flipkart with additional discount on Rs. 2,500 exchange of your old smartphone, up to 10 percent off with HDFC Bank debit and credit cards, a Buyback Guarantee of 50 percent of the smartphone’s value, and EMI schemes.

In the Term of Moto X4 specifications and features

It sports a 5.2-inch full-HD LTPS IPS display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a 424ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC clocked at up to 2.2GHz, coupled with up to 4GB of RAM.
The highlight of Moto X4 is its dual rear cameras a 12-megapixel primary camera with a Dual Autofocus of Pixel sensor, a f/2.0 aperture, and 1.4-micron pixels. The setup also consists of an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with a 120-degree field of view, a f/2.2 aperture, and 1.12-micron pixels. The dual rear camera setup is accompanied by a color correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash and supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF). Overall, the setup helps provide such photography modes as ultra-wide angle shots, selective focus, as well as depth detection and depth effects like Bokeh.

The Moto X4’s has a 16-megapixel sensor with 1-micron pixels front shooter for selfies and a f/2.0 aperture, which the company says will help in low-light photography. Of course, the selfie flash also helps. Apart from a 4-megapixel adaptive low light mode, there is also a beautification mode. On the connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Top sensors on board include accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The smartphone measures 148.35×73.4×7.99mm (9.45mm at camera bump) and weighs 163 grams. It houses 3000mAh non-removable ‘all-day’ battery, which when coupled with a 15W TurboPower charger (bundled in the box) will provide up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charge.

Zen Admire Unity Launched in India


The Indian handset maker, Zen Smartphones on Wednesday announced the launch of a new device its Zen Admire Unity in India with a price tag of Rs. 5,099. The new Mobile phone will go on sale in the country starting Wednesday, 10 November and will include multiple regional languages to target first-time smartphone users in the country.

The company is offering 365-day device replacement offer under which Zen Mobiles will provide a replacement if their handset is not repaired within 15 days. Furthermore, the company is touted to provide its service through over 750 Zen care centers across the country.

The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and has a 5-inch (480×854 pixels) display. The handset is powered by a quad-core SoC coupled. On the camera, It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel camera. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the Admire Unity include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Besides, it houses a 2300mAh battery that’s a removable one.

Panasonic Listed Eluga I5 Online at Rs. 8,990


Panasonic appears set to increase its Eluga range of mobile phones in India, by launching the Eluga I5 mobile phone shortly. Ahead of an official launch, the new smartphone has been listed on Flipkart with a price tag of Rs. 8,990. The smartphone is likely to be exclusively available in the online marketplace.

The Flipkart listing confirms the key requirements as well as the design of the Panasonic Eluga I5. However, the online marketplace has not yet started selling the handset, and the listing carries a “coming soon” tag — without revealing any details about its availability in the country. We reached out to Panasonic India for more information and were informed the handset has yet to be officially launched in the country.

As per the specifications listed on Flipkart, the Panasonic Eluga I5 has a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. The dual-SIM handset runs on Android Nougat 7.0 operating system. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with five-piece lens and f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera with a three-piece lens.

On the connectivity options on the Panasonic Eluga I5 include 4G VoLTE, FM radio, Bluetooth v4, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on board include an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor. The handset also has a fingerprint sensor on the back of its metal body. Besides, it is powered by a 2,500mAh battery that’s a non-removable one, and measures 143x71x7.5mm along with a weight of 145.5 grams. The listing, first spotted by the Mobile Indian, suggests that the smartphone will go on sale in India in two color options: gold and black.

The Moto X4 was originally unveiled at IFA 2017. One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is that it features both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa as voice-based virtual assistants. The GPU on this phone is Adreno 508 GPU and it comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, though there is 2TB microSD support on this phone. The smartphone is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, which is clocked at 2.2 GHz. Moto X4 is backed by a 3000 mAh battery, with the company promising 6 hours of power in 15 minutes with the 15W TurboPower charger for this smartphone.

The highlight feature of Moto X4 is its dual rear cameras with a 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors, which come with Dual Autofocus Pixel technology for faster focus in low-light conditions. Specification of the camera is 12-megapixel Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor with f/2.0 and 1.4um sensor size, while the 8-megapixel camera has an ultra-wide angle with 120-degree field of view sensor and f/2.2 aperture and 1.12um pixel size.

Moto X4 Price in India Tipped to Be Rs. 23,999


Moto was supposed to launch the Moto X4 smartphone in India in October, but though postponed it due to unknown reasons. Now, the smartphone has been scheduled to launch on November 13. Also, a new leak seemingly drops a hint around the pricing of the Moto X4 in India. As per the leaked image, the Moto X4 will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version with dual SIM support and also reveals that it will cost Rs. 23,999.

To recall, the Moto X4 was originally unveiled at IFA 2017. The smartphone packs dual 12MP and 8MP rear cameras to take images with blurred background, selective black and white and has dual Autofocus Pixel technology for faster focus in low light. It has a 16MP front camera with a 4MP new adaptive low light mode. The mobile phone sports a metal unibody design and packs a fingerprint scanner under the home button at the front.

Moto launch G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play next year:


Lenovo-owned Motorola is said to be working to bring three G series phones in 2018. The Moto G6 Play is expected to be launched alongside the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus. Lenovo somehow skipped the play edition for fifth-generation Moto G-range which included Moto G5, Moto G5S, Moto G5 Plus, and Moto G5S Plus. But now, Motorola brand’s idea of introducing ‘Play’ variant was to offer a new smartphone with some additional features.

To recall, the Moto G4 Play was the last of its kind and was launched in September last year. The Moto G4 Play was seen as a toned down version of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus.

There are no details of the new Moto G smartphones on the Internet currently but we can expect to hear more in coming months. It is also widely expected that the company may reveal the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus ahead of the Moto G6 Play launch, which has been a pattern for other Play variants. For a reminisce, Motorola has introduced the first ever G Play variant in 2014. But the variant which was renowned as the Google Play Edition not succeeded in attracting a satisfactory audience response.
