Inside the day of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018), product images of Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) have surfaced online. The upcoming budget phone will reportedly be launched in emerging markets as well as Russia in the coming weeks.
The expected Galaxy J2 (2018) with model number SM-J250 was leaked by WinFuture.de. The website also released supposed product images of the Galaxy J2 (2018), which reveal the headset from all angles. The smartphone is said to have a price tag of EUR 115 (roughly Rs. 8,730), placing it comfortably in the budget segment.
According to the report, the Galaxy J2 (2018) will be a dual-SIM phone based on Android 7.1 (Nougat). The Galaxy J2 (2018) might sport a 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors (540 pixels by 960 pixels) display. The headset is also expected to be powered by a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53, Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 processor with a 1.5GB of RAM.

In the optics department, the Galaxy J2 (2018) might feature an 8 MP, autofocus, LED flash rear sensor and a 5 MP selfie camera with a camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama. Both sensors are expected to have flash. The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) will reportedly have 16GB internal storage expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options on the headset are said to include Bluetooth, N-WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot), LTE Cat 4, and Micro-USB. According to the report, there will be a Removable Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery under the hood. The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) phone is expected to have a weight of 153 grams.
The Galaxy J2 (2017) was announced in India in Oct this year. The phone sports a smaller 4.70-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The smartphone was launched at Rs. 7,390.
